In a typical pilsener style, this beer is made using only the best Saaz hops. These hops, which are specially imported from the Czech Republic, give this beer its signature aroma.
The 2x6 packs of Hansa Pilsener was a one-off gift to an ex-pat Zimbabwean neighbour - a former white farmer whose property was confiscated by the Mugabe regime. The beer represented a taste of what was once, home. I never tried it personally so cannot comment on the quality. Was it well chosen? I’m told the recipient liked it.
Am grateful for Savanna’s service and delivery which was impeccable. I have now unsubscribed from this company as I am unlikely to order more African products in the future. Despite that, the company has asked for a review. JC
