You can add a note to your order directly on the cart page before checkout. On desktop, the note box appears at the bottom left of the cart, just below your product list and next to the total payable amount. On mobile, scroll down below your product list to find it. The note box is outlined with a red border, so it’s easy to spot.

All our dry products, including biltong, droëwors, and chilli bites, are vacuum sealed to lock in freshness and preserve quality. When stored unopened in a cool, dry place, they have a shelf life of up to three months from the packing date.

We understand your concern. According to Trading Standards, products with a Best Before date(unlike a Use By or Expiry date) may be sold for up to three months past the BB date, as they remain safe to consume for up to six months. We ensure full transparency by:

  • Clearly displaying the BB date next to the product title (e.g. BB: 10/06/2025),
  • Stating clearly on the product page that the item is past its BB date, so customers can make an informed choice.

Note: A product reaching its BB date does not guarantee a promotion on said product.

No. We currently do not ship to Northern Ireland.

Although some customers may have ordered from us in the past, recent changes in shipping costs and regulations mean we now only ship within mainland UK.

Once your order is placed, we require one to two working days for processing and two additional working days for delivery by DHL. If your order contains fresh meat, please note the following:

  • Our warehouse team orders your meat directly from our butchery.
  • The meat is delivered to us the next day, after which your order is packed and sealed.
  • You may receive a “ready for dispatch” notification earlier in the day, but DHL collects parcels late afternoon for next-day delivery.

  • Using the same email address associated with your loyalty account.
